It started off With Our Friend "Joe"...and this one question "Can I Get a Date?" P.S. For all new readers (and all are truly welcome here), I do recommend that your first read should be the initial entry which was posted on September 27, 2010 (titled as 'Single Life')...this all started back then. Once you read the first entry, feel free to read any other in any order. Most importantly, please feel free to share and voice your thoughts. This is all our forum!

Did you know that today is
I N T E R N A T I O N A L
Day Of
HAPPINESS
Since when...
do we need
to designate an official day to feel happy???
I have Ate my words for this day...
Don't tell me what to do Big Brother!!!
I will feel the way I feel, regardless of how anyone tells what I should be feeling!
Stick that up your wall and stare at it.
Oh, and happy international day to all ya folks out there and beyond.
Wasn't there a Bob Marley song about being happy?
Anyhow....
Happy Happy Whatever Day

Our Circular Planet
At the heart of it all, we are nothing short of a very complicated chemical equation...
Reacting with each and every element that touches us.
Our mind may be sound
Our sight may be our inlet
Our perception is our reality
Our gumption is our history replayed
Our voice is how we are heard
and
Our Mark on this planet is what we build for others to see, touch and talk about
Because being talked about is what life is all about, right?
Well...maybe if that's what's important
What's important to me is laying the foundation down for others to understand and walk towards each other
Because without each other,
We truly are nobodies wanting to be somebodies...
Which only means something if others deem it of value
Each and everyday I interact with at least two hundred different people
For better or for worse
and
Each day, my mission statement is simple
"If I change the day for the better for just one person today...
I can only hope that they in turn do the same for a stranger tomorrow...
And before the day comes that I die...
This place we All Call Home
Is a home worth calling home..."

In the end of it all,
our karma
is our own self fulfilling prophecy...
not the byproduct of the works
of some external omnipotent puppeteer.

not unlike Simon, but very much like a single man that so many seem to ask...
"Why are you still single?
You are...
Smart,
Sexy
and
Successful?
Caring, Compassionate and Creative...on top of all that...
How could it be that you are still single?!?"
The response
(like in so many facets of life)
is simple and concise.
Often misunderstood, and mostly unappreciated.
A bit like some finely aged wine...
Geared for a palate intended for understanding the complexities and appreciating all the subtle nuances...
Clearing throat:
"I am Over Qualified."
Wham, bam and ga-zing
That's how things,
We
Us
Roll
Hop
Skip
and a short Jump
Reason with the inequalities
and unfairness
That life holds for us all.
It's like suspense without suspenders on old trousers.

If the collective heart is an ocean, then the minds are all the connecting rivers
Just as a reminder
We are all here
On borrowed
Time
Deano is A-OK,
Inspite of my overwhelmingly busy schedule...I still think of you my lonely and ever so lovely omnipresent blog world. A world loyal to my mind and cause, a place faithful to my philosophical and spiritual beliefs...beliefs that overlook an entire universe (imaginary or not)...a retreat from this fake cold world we call reality.
i would never
ever
neglect my blog.
This boringly busy time and place has left me mentally and emotionally drained. It's exhausting pretending to be here when I am there...or is it that I am there, when I am really here?
But hey...At Least I have yoga to look forward to.
(Let me be honest, I really like going because I am one male amongst many females...and well the whole wellness thing too is a significant reason as well).
I know...I just know....that....One day, just one day...I will wake up in my awesomely spectacular parallel world. Here is where I will adhere life to the heaven I know of...where my theoretical principles of existence mirror precisely the advent of an ideal life.
Fun fact:
Our eyes and mind can only comprehend less than ten percent of all relative existence. There is a lot left to reason and understand. Life isn't magical, but rather practical. Life continues, literally forever...with or without us.
That, in itself is a miracle and our gift.
So, if we don't take the time to stop and appreciate this gift...who knows...if ever, we ever get another chance to do so.
In some very simple way, we are that surfer riding a wave. A wave that may crash us to shore...but none the less, that transient wave will continue to repeat eventually somewhere...it always does. As the surfer, we can choose to pout or appreciate that ride...
Life would be simpler if it were just one big cookie that we all got.
But...simple is what simple does...and in simplicity, we tend to loose an understanding behind that appreciation we can experience.
I can sit here devoted to time...but I won't waste the chance.
I will find my road, high or low....and ride my surf board in every ocean...through every sea...as many times as I can...and appreciate the fact that I have had that chance to experience a gift so few are willing to accept until it's too late to appreciate and understand.
Remember, our ancestors built clocks and calendars...setting first a system of schedules and appointments...
Like a feather in the sky, I will let time continue to tick without notice...and float to where I am intended to be.
Time is of no essence if it's not shackling your mind.
Forward and change are our inevitable destinations...as long as we accept that, then we can be able to appreciate all the gifts we are allowed to experience, savor and share.

What's the purpose behind the foggy mirror?
Why?
In a society whereby everything is aimed for
political correctness....
why does so much of what I see appear fundamentally
faulty?

I Need Divine Intervention
I will tell of the faithful acts of the Lord,
of the Lord’s praiseworthy deeds.
I will tell about all the Lord did for us,
the many good things he did for the family of Israel,
because of his compassion and great faithfulness.
He said, “Certainly they will be my people,
children who are not disloyal.”
He became their deliverer.
Through all that they suffered, he suffered too.
The messenger sent from his very presence delivered them.
In his love and mercy he protected them;
he lifted them up and carried them throughout ancient times.
Isaiah 63:7-9
A Prayer for Divine Intervention
