It came through the air

muffled in sound
in a frustrated tone
People Need to be Less Stupid
Gee, i don't know
...i mean i wish
but
some things are easier said then done
if life could only be that easy

I may be Radical

I'd prefer to call myself progressive in my thinking (I've even been accused of being down right crazy at times)...yet my philosophical eye continually weaves and roves itself well beyond any conscious box any one person will create and instill to imprison their beliefs and principles.
It came to me via mid conversation with a sweet, little old lady by the name of Lorraine (she  bares a small resemblance to a Hobbit...don't tell her i said that though).
What if,
(this is strictly hypothetical...and very much radical)
there are limits
of 7seven7 years
set on marriage licenses?
For starters
That would kill the divorce rate,
plus it will certainly make people work harder in their marriages...
How so do you ask?
If i loved my spouse, and i knew that i had seven years with her, i will do my best each and every day to make her the happiest i can...otherwise at the end of the seventh year, why would she re-up with me?
Married couples, can become unhappily complacent within the barriers of sour marriages...the majority of people getting married today will end their relationship in divorce...why not, se7en years, give it a shot and see if it works

Moodiness is a wasteful state of Existance

Sometimes people come into your life and you know
right away that they were meant to be there, to serve
some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help
you figure out who you are or who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be - a roommate, a
neighbor, a professor, a friend, a lover, or even a
complete stranger - but when you lock eyes with them,
you know at that very moment they will affect your
life in some profound way.

Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible,
painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you
find that without overcoming those obstacles you would
have never realized your potential, strength,
willpower, or heart.

Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness,
and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of
your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they
may be, life would be like a smoothly paved straight
flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and
comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless....

The people you meet who affect your life, and the
success and downfalls you experience, help to create
who you are and who you become. Even the bad
experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are
sometimes the most important ones.

If someone loves you, give love back to them in
whatever way you can, not only because they love you,
but because in a way, they are teaching you to love
and how to open your heart and eyes to things.

If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your
heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn
about trust and the importance of being cautious to
whom you open your heart.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take
from those moments everything that you possibly can
for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk
to people that you have never talked to before, and
listen to what they have to say.

Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your
sights high. Hold your head up because you have every
right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and
believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in
yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in
you.

You can make anything you wish of your life. Create
your own life and then go out and live it with
absolutely no regrets.

And if you love someone tell them, for you never know
what tomorrow may have in store.

Learn a lesson in life each day that you live! Today
is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday. Was
it worth it?

It all eventually comes Togther

"We cannot live for ourselves alone. Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results."

The Chimpanzee

Chimpanzees are highly social animals that express emotions similar to our own...which include Sadness and Joy, Love and Fear, Excitement and Despair...study after study seem to indicate that these animals are more then able to be rational thinkers with problem solving capabilities, as well as, possess the ability to understand the needs of others.  Not to mention a competence in planning for future...Look at these Altruistic qualities.

Unselfish regard for
or
devotion to the welfare of others

Chimps live in communities along the equator (predominately in rain forests) in groups of up to eighty80eighty members...yet sub divide themselves into units of 3three3 to six6six.  They are intelligently adequate in communicating with each other via a wide range of calls and gestures....all unique to the individual chimpanzee...these signature sounds are an easy means to recognize the individual!  Another important element in maintaining that essential cohesiveness within the unit is their usefulness of physical contact...because of this, social grooming is an important interaction...serving to develop and improve relationships within the community.

Since the turn of the twentieth20thCentury, the chimp population has been depleted by ninety90%percent.  Through rapid deforestation, only fragmented patches of livable quarters still exist for the Chimps to inhabit.  Because of the deforestation, coupled with the bushmeat trade, exploitation for entertainment, and biomedical research...chimpanzees could become extinct within our lifetime.

What can you do?
Support programs that rescue chimps from reasearchers
chimphaven.org
Speak out against deforestation
By products that are grown under the natural canopy of the forest

There are many abused animals on this planet...and our species seem to be the culprits

Leaving it up to chance

Finding answers requires an understanding and proper interpretation of the indicators pointing us in the right direction.  Those tasks are left up to us to solve for our evolution.  In our adult lives, no one is there to resolve our dilemmas....our tests are for us to pass.   One can only hope that their judgments are sharp enough to detect the best path... certain opportunities only come once, luck rarely reintroduces lost chances.
Who's feeling lucky today?

P.S.
Getting accused of...
being a bit crazy is
the least of my worries
Holding it against me
due to a lack of comprehension
will only impede the ability to advance
in an unknown direction
Why fear Risk?
Take advantage of the opportunities
that life brings

Baer Gave me some Good Advice last week

"Spend at least one day a year, and witness the sun rise.
Watching the sun set is too easy."

For the last thirteen years, I've observed the lighting of the Eastern sky fi5e out of se7en days...of each week.
