How Different Are We Really?

Man created religion to deal with mortality.
Religion attempts to instill ethics, morals, norms, values and lifestyle guidelines.
Godless societies are harder to manage within the community of our planet, hence needing the order that religion can offer which can allow for more of a positive communal flow.
A cohesion of interests.
Like I said, an order.

I have come to the conclusion, that regardless of the verbiage or ethnic background, there are only two religions on our planet in all of our time...
There's the religion of fear
and
The religion of love

All religions come down to one and/or the other.  Regardless of saviors, enlightenment or transcendence...all religions speak with one of these two voices.
Now, I've come to believe that control is easier to exude when there is a threat of coercion, as per our human flaw of our ever so prevalent Ego.
Most, if not all of our disputes, battles, disagreements, quarrels, altercations and misunderstandings stem from our ego.  The truest human tragedy, and by far, the worst flaw we have to offer.
Threats of coercion are extremely effective in maintaining order.
Unfortunately, Why the majority religion is fear.
But fear lacks true compassion and empathy.
More importantly, fear lacks eternal growth.
Because fear suppresses the unknowns, the outliers, the peculiarities in exploration and privileges of expansion.
Fear helps control and maintain.
Need I explain what love offers?  Or would an obtuse eye lack the wisdom and direction of love.
Fear is callous, love the is all encompassing.
Yet, funny how mortality finds both.  Makes you wonder which path makes for a more comfortable journey.
Because, ultimately this is a journey we all get the opportunity to experience.  The truest gift of life.

It's easy to get angry at someone,
It's much harder to forgive them.
Life puts us the position to flourish or fail
It's up to us to become strong and survive
or
Disappear in the history of time.

Your choice, our world, this time or forever hold your peace.
