Mark 11:13-14

Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree,“May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.
The Fig Tree that Jesus cursed had no fruit on it because it was not Fig season. It seems to me that, that mentality is extremely unfair....a mentality in which one expects fruit out-of-season and be disappointment when there is none.

Why Did Jesus curse the Fig Tree?
it was an object lesson.

killing of the messiah because they did not "bear fruit"
Led to destruction by the Romans...followed by a life of slavery

nurturing an unfruitful nation....created tangible faults
Then there was a wait
allowing for failure

We are facing unimaginable times, and God (if you believe in one) gives us one more warning so we can know who the
Abomination of Desolation  is (each has their own)

consider us warned

Blessings,
K
