Meet Malcolm Tucker

He happens to be one of my all time favorite characters of film/TV.  I was first introduced to his character in a political satire called 'In the Loop'.  This movie is based on a BBC TV series called 'The Thick of It'.  Rumor had it that the Malcolm Tucker character is based on Alastair Campbell (best known for being the Director of Communication and Strategy for former British Prime Minister Tony Blair between 1997 and 2003).  Alastair Campbell is also a British journalist, political aide and best selling Author.  Although the rumors of Malcolm and Alastair have been downplayed..parallels do seem to 'coexist' (by Alastair's own accord).

So...
He may be obnoxious and overly insulting (but must I add hilarious too?)...
With a wit so quick, and a tongue so sharp...his mean streak is something that we all need to experience at least once.

85 times, that's how many times Malcolm used the word Fuck (or it's derivatives) in the movie 'In the Loop'

P.s.
According to Actor Peter Capaldi (the actor who portrays Malcolm), he based Malcolm on Harvey Weinstein (Hollywood Film Producer and studio boss)...whom he claims is the only person that he has ever witnessed behave in such an aggressive, hostile and profane manner.
"barking the foulest and most terrifying of obscenities down the phone at people"
Peter sees Malcolm as a hard working political aide with a heart of gold whom is continually bombarded and confronted by an army of idiots.  Charmed with the gift of colorful dialogue, he finds the most meaningful and expressive means to communicate his fullest emotional spunk.
Carry On Malcolm, carry on...and Peter, Good Luck with being the new Doctor Who!

Plus....
On an aside, actor Tom Cruise also played a similar behaving character (Les Grossman)  whom he claims that he based his character on Harvey Weinstein.  The movie was 'Tropic Thunder' and ironically, Tom's character was a movie producer...quite possibly one of Tom's best ever portrayals.
