W hen we Travel far enough into Our spiritual journey, more often than not we begin to have a strong desire for enlightenment. We may not know what enlightenment really is, but we still want it because it sounds wonderful. This urge for enlightenment is a positive outlet of energy that helps to motor our spirits through life's rougher times...So, if you desire a state of enlightenment, there is no harm in you wanting it. So Relax! When you delve into investigating this state of wanting, you will inevitably find that what you want isn't really enlightenment. If enlightenment means anything, it means going beyond the entire mental-emotional system out of which wanting arises. You can't really want what is beyond wanting! Therefore, the obvious question is, "What do I really want?" If I were anything other then a blogger/sailor, I would tell you to go sit under a tree and not move until you knew the answer to this question. But, alas, I'm just a Blogger who likes to help people do their spiritual thing, and being a practical sort of guy, (although some may argue otherwise) I feel very inclined to give you an answer. What you really want is freedom. You want to be free to do anything and at the same time free from everything. You want to be in a perpetual state of free fall, no attachments to anything, just free, free, free to explore/discover a zen state of an emotional paradise. That's what keeps you encouraged to seek out any information regarding spirituality, introspective soul searching, or any form of meditation. You want to be free.      Want to know the real Interesting part of this entire spiritual journey that We are all on? You desire freedom more than anything, Yet there Exists a tremendous amount of fear and uncertainty that comes with that search of liberating your mind from attachment to tangibility! Severing that Anchor that Grounds You to any materialistic illusions of the unattainable riches...Take A peak inside and see if this is not the case. That's the real spiritual journey! Okay, now go sit under the tree and see what arises.
