Otherwise known as the recessive genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis...the median predicted age of survival for this disease is in the Mid Thirties (twenty years ago was approimately half of that)...
So what is this disease?
An internal overproduction of mucus that ultimately leads to blockages and scaring of Organs (Lungs, Pancreas, Liver and Intestines)...Difficulty of breathing becomes a serious concern, As do enzyme activity within the digestive organs...although not a curable disease, there are many forms of therapy, Treatments and nutritional planning for people afflicted by this.
