Bermuda

Found East of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina...almost symmetrically distant from Halifax, Nova Scotia and Miami,Florida...It is an oversees territory of the Great British Emprire.
Originally "discovered" (wink,wink) by Spanish Conquistador Juan de Bermudez (that was the name of my high school sophomore year math teacher...I had no idea he was a Spanish Conquistador...he toned it down though, called himself "Joe") in Fifteen1505Five (A.D.).
Interesting statement made of Bermuda...it has been thought (although difficult to verify since it is a territory and its own country) it may house the highest GDP per capita in the world...hello Bailout,may we all get another.
Funnest fact about this place, it makes up for the eastern most point of the mythically mysterious Bermuda Triangle (I think Mulder and Scully might still be there). Bermuda's only indigenous mammal(s) are Five species of bats (I'm not that much of a nerd to tell you). For Your Personal information, the Bermuda Petrel is the national bird. You guys will all totally rock it out on Jeopardy!
Bermuda is also divided into 9nine9 Parishes and two2two Municipalities...unfortunately they are all vested in the Monarch, yet (potentially/luckily) exercised on her behalf by the Governor (who is always appointed by the Queen)...yet have no seat in the United Nations.
Nonetheless, this place is the Forty49Ninth defined and distinguished area on this planet (pseudo-country) to be exposed to the travels of Captain Patrick C. Benson
