Fierce Avid Appetites

Ef A (squared)

Why is it that the anticipated chase exceeds the satisfaction of the capture?
When desire transcends conquest...
Why?

A questioned posed to me by a very lovely young lady...her thrill to imprison the eye of the gentleman whom caught her hunger for infatuation. She reels him only to realize the passion and fixation wore off...catch and release...typically sailors release "fish" that are not mature enough...maybe my darling, thats not the fish you were looking to catch.
Chase is sport...sporting is fun
Life is fun...filled with urges
that we Must Immediately Satisfy...Yes?
A blistering necessity to feel Complete...avariciousness
an ongoing obsession for satisfaction...a continual pursuit for our everlasting happiness...
Felicity and Bliss...
Why can't we feel content with what we have...
Why do we ask for things that don't belong to us?
I guess its simple
The run we give the chase is what we ultimately want the most...?
Otherwise, why do we try so hard only to let up after we finish?

In my humble opinion...at the end of the chase is when the real effort and subsequent fulfillment of desire should start...and each day there after becomes just another nugg of treasure
